If you already have a pretty pot to pop the plant in or want to find one on your own, select the growers pot option for individual plants. Decorative container options are available for each plant. Contact-free pick-up by appointment between 10AM and 12noon on Wednesday through Saturday from our studio at 2918 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Avondale. 3. Peperomia caperata ‘Burgundy Ripple’
Peperomia caperata ‘Burgundy Ripple’. This little cutie has thick, wrinkled leaves in reddish-purplish green. It likes medium to bright light. It will tolerate lower light, but may become leggy in lower light. It won’t get huge, but will quickly grow up to 8″. If you don’ t have a pretty pot of your own to pop it into, add on a container.
4. Silver Pothos
Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Silver Satin.’ Show your love with the heart-shaped leaves of this beauty! This vining plants has dark green leaves splashed with silver. It’ll get really long if you let it, but trimming it keeps it vigorous. It does fine in lots of light levels, but will lose its variegation in low light. This one’s going to be tough to kill. Just try it.
5. Succulent Garden
Enjoy the easy care of succulents! This collection of succulents in a metal container has a modern industrial feel. The container is 7.5″ wide x 4″ tall. They like bright, indirect light and to dry out between waterings. Give ’em a try!
6. Dracaena frangrans ‘Lemon Lime’
Easy care floor plant with striped leaves in bright yellow-green, white, and dark green. These are about 2 to 2-1/2 feet tall now, but can eventually grow 5-7′ tall. Let the top 1-2″ of soil dry out between waterings. If the soil is too wet or too dry, the tips of the leaves will start to brown. Adjust accordingly!
7. Alocasia ‘Calidora’
Alocasia “Calidora.’ AKA Elephants ear. This one’s for the over-achievers. Currently around 4 feet tall, these can grow twice that tall. Their biggest leaves are currently over 20″ long. This striking plant is most suited for the houseplant enthusiast. They like bright but indirect light. They love humidity and for the soil to be on the moist side…but not too moist! Poisonous to pets, so if your four-legged roommates like to munch, this one is not for you.
