All photography courtesy of Kyle John Photography. This wedding. So gorgeous. The most fun priest, the sweetest families, and the most gracious bride. After delivering the wedding parties’ flowers earlier in the day, Pollen floral designer Michelle, anticipating her own wedding just a few weeks after this one, said she aspired to be as gracious as this bride on her wedding day. And the bouquets! The bouquets weren’t our usual fare. The bride requested a cascading bouquet, and the attendants’ bouquets were flower-free. Foliage only!
The Details: Summer wedding at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church and the University Club of Chicago.
The color palette: Green and white.
The flower palette: Lots of foliage! Fern, ruskus, silver dollar eucalyptus, autumn clematis, baptisia foliage, scrub ivy, lemon leaf…and some flowers, too! Dahlias, lisianthus, pee gee hydrangea, sedum, spray roses, and stock.
